Tesol 2011 Graduates

TESOL Graduation Dinner 17 June 2011

Our TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program is approved and accredited by the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii, the Institute of the Nations in Australia, and also with TESL Canada. Credits will be issued by the U of N. Graduates can apply for accreditation with TESL Canada upon completion of the course. Students are provided with practicum placement during the term of their course. With an international University curriculum, ESL Okanagan offers a unique learning experience for anyone wanting to teach English.

Students do not need a Baccalaureate Degree (B.A.) to be eligible for accreditation with the University of the Nations; however, for accreditation with TESL Canada, a degree is required.

ESL Okanagan TESOL offers the unique experience of learning in an environment where both staff and teachers are dedicated to helping you. Our six week intensive training program is designed to give you the necessary skills to equip you for teaching English. All students must participate in the two week practicum while the additional four week practicum is optional. A Discipleship Training School is not necessary but encouraged.

Who will benefit from the course? Those who are interested in travel, people desiring to teach English in their community or abroad. Those interested in doing mission work and anyone interested in personal development.
