TESOL Okanagan University of the Nations

Finally, a TESOL program that allows you both the expertise and knowledge from a university acredited course.  Our course will provide both the traveller and the decicated missionary to use their knowlege and talent.

This intense program will help you build your skills for teaching speakers of other languages.  University or college experience is not necessary but may be an asset.

Blending Formal Instruction with Plenty of Fun!

Located in the breathtakingly beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada, the ESL Okanagan program blends formal instruction with cultural exchange among students from around the world by using a variety of courses and field trips that instruct, promote, and refine ESL instruction. Our students include youth and adults who have different goals in mind but all require the English language, ESL Canada.

    • Students bound for international colleges and universities
    • College professors requiring knowledge of the English language
    • Adults and youth preparing for travel on mission trips
    • Students wishing to expand reading, writing, or fluency skills
    • People seeking employment where English is required

    Blending Classrooms and Field Trips

ESL_thumb10The campus is situated in an area known for its lush beauty and outdoor life so the ESL program field trips include activities such as hiking, biking and other outdoor events and activities. This area contains everything you could ask for in nature including snow capped mountains, lakes, vineyards, orchards, hiking trails and summer green fields. Field trips also include activities such as museum visits.

If you are interested in learning English as a Second Language, the ESL program offers much more than just a lot of tedious classroom lectures. Through instruction, field trips, social interaction, and lots of practice throughout the Fall or Spring session, each student will graduate the program with the skills needed for success.
